7th graders learning how to naturally show other guys they want to be friendly

During 7th Grade Group yesterday we talked about showing age-expected social attention to other kids in ways that are natural and sound organic to other boys.

One of the concepts I emphasize with middle schoolers is to make sure they do not break the “rules” of male-male social communication. For example, if someone is wearing a Fortenite shirt you do not ask them if they like Fortenite, rather you ask a specific question pertaining to their playing the game.
