Teaching executive functioning strategy to a middle schooler based on his interest

Teaching executive functioning strategies through a kid’s interest, without any discussion of academics. Often, I find that executive functioning support is often limited to academics which does not prepare kids for anything aside from being a student.

I believe in teaching executive functioning strategies that will help move kids from being “prompt-dependent” towards independent and help make life at home easier for everyone.

This was done with an aspiring middle school age YouTuber.
