Some “horseplay” goes on during How to Hang Out and it’s welcome.
Why? Because that’s how boys relate and show affection towards each other.
Here’s what’s not natural yet it’s how most social skills groups look:
Sitting in a group, (possibly with kids who have much more significant challenges), practicing overly formal etiquette and role playing scripted conversations that are completely unnatural to the way boys communicate with each other.
If your son is in grades 5-8 and needs help learning how to “hang out” with other boys his age learn more about How to Hang Out, the only program of its kind in the USA. How to Hang Out takes place in Ventnor. Final session of the school year begins April 27th
